Create Tracks from Markers or Regions ??

I hope that I'm just having a "blonde" moment...this should be so simple.

I dropped an hour long .WAV file onto the Time Line and inserted about 5 Markers at the points where I'd like to see CD Tracks Ending/Beginning. I fully expected to be able to find a command that would, in essence, "end one track and begin another at each of the Markers" but for the life of me, I'm not seeing it.

I even made REGIONS out of the areas between each MARKER and figured I could assign a Track # to each Region, but no tracks were assigned when using the "Create Tracks from Media Regions" command.

What am I missing?

Thanks !!

I think the 'Create Tracks From Media Regions' command relates to Regions already embedded in the original media file, rather than locally defined ones on the timeline, which certainly do nothing. Unless saved as a WAV and reloaded.

Or is it a bug ? Not clear from the Help...

But why use markers and regions within CDA ? Why not simply find the spot (or highlight a 'region' ) hit "T" and create the tracks directly !
