Creating karaokie/videokie with VV

Somebody out there who can give tips on how to create a videokie veg project. It was shown to me on the demo show but i was not able to go into details since its my first time to get aware with the software. I just bought the software and i never regret even if it cost a little bit expensive than others. Great to have VV isn't it.
Anyway, back to the topic. . . i don't know if they have other plug ins or maybe its just to complicated to do it. They can also be able to switch the english lyric texts to chinese text. I really wanna create videokie project myself. . .any ideas out there?

Hello rllagas:
Learning the basics of Vegas is daunting enough. But if you want to see how much this great product is capable of, visit this site: http://www.debugmode.com/ and download and install the PlugInPack. Read all directions that come with it. Then do a search on this forum for DeBugMode, Shatter and 3DLE. Read the posts about this product.
Then visit http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/help/download.html Register for this site and download all the GREAT veg files. I suggest that you NOT download those veg files that use WinMorph. At least not yet. You will use PlugInPack's 3DLE and PlugInPack's Shatter much more frequently than you ever will use WinMorph...and WinMorph can be very difficult to learn if you are also learning Vegas.
Open up each veg file you downloaded and literally "play" with each one. Move controls around, add your own video files, text, gradients, still images adjust the various settings and watch what happens in the preview window! Then when you close the veg file DO NOT SAVE it with your changes. Let it close back to it's original state. That way you can play with it again and again until you become adept with this great product and make your own veg files with it.
Have fun..you'll get addicted to this.

thanks for the tips. . . i downloaded some and they're great. i got one with mtvkaraoke tutorial but it seems to be using a lot of event tracks for the lyrics text alone.
is there any simpler technique? if i'm not mistaken i saw on the pc show that they are only using one event track for the entire lyrics text.
anyway. . . thanks again. . . i better start doing my stuff now. . .

The way they do on a single track is output as an avi to Premiere or Vegas.
They have a PCI card and it's own software to create a single track text from
a wordpad Lyric.

Then one will listen with the song and tap the spacebar to create the markers for
the overlay. I heard the card and software costs US$ 3,000. (from Taiwan).

The Chinese and english text are prebuild.

The Quality of the karaoke text from VV3 surpassed this system. The keyframing is similar to markers creation.

Basic mtv need only 2 tracks. One regular line text, One top line text wipe.

The top line text wipe need to be individual events corresspond to the phrase you sing.

mtv karaoke veg is created so that it's easier to understand the technique used in VV3.
