Creating multiple clips from one video

I use movie studio platinum 14.0. I am looking to take a video and break it down into separate rendered clips e.g for youtube shorts / tiktok. Is there a way to do this from within a single project (break video down into multiple clips and render as multiple clips / files from there) or do you need separate projects for each clip (get 1 clip you want, render, create new project and repeat)?

Most posts I am seeing surrounding clips are just how to split a video or how to merge clips, havent seen how to get multiple rendered clips, so hopefully hasn't already been answered and just missed it.

N.B. I haven't been editing for a while so not as familiar these days, try to dumb it down if you can (if there is an answer to this)

1. Cut that file in pieces (they are now events called),
2. Select a part you want to render by doubleclick, now it became selected as region
3. Go to "Make Movie" and make your choices, but don't forget to select " only render the loop region"
4. After rendering is finished you can choose the next region, aso.
