Creating text lists in Vegas 6

Creating Titles and lower 1/3rds is no problem BUT . . .

I have tried using the media generator to create lists with up to 8 lines of information, as much as 6 words per line - sometimes only two.

My intent was to have numbered items, 24 point, all lines placed flush left.

Everything comes out shifted all over the screen. I have to tweak and shift each line individually to line things up.

Will someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?
Or do I need to buy some 3rd party titling software.

Hmmmm. I've never had that problem. Are you sure you have the flush left button selected? Remember that the justification buttons are under the Edit tab and are not the same as the Text Placement choices under the Placement tab.

Thank you Chienworks. Using the flush left symbol, my text lined up nicely.

Is there a way of making the text generator screen default to something other than 72 point arial typeface?

Make a preset the way YOU want things, then always add your preset instead of the "default" one.
