I emailed you at the "help at Vimeo" email address. I hope you get the email.

I'm confused... Help at vimeo will go to dalas, the site guru. Better to respond to the videos directly there, or comment here if you can't do so there (if for instance, you don't want to register there).

Or, you could respond on YouTube, where I also uploaded 2 versions. (I'd strongly recommend viewing on vimeo, however, given YouTube's major suckage factor.)

Second run is:

Uh yeah, that looks nothing like the Superman titles.

My email address is posted below if you can share how you did it using Vegas.

Not after 10 minute's work it's not, no. Sorry to disappoint you for free.

Bibbity,

For ten minutes, and using just the Vegas tools, I think it looks great. As I posted way up at the top of this, I am pretty sure you can get close to what kdi is looking for just using the title generator, some fX, the 3D moves, and some keyframes. Won't be exact, but as your Vimeo video shows, it definitely is a similar effect.

P.S. I really like the cheesy UFO effect.

lol,

Also I didn't take a stab at it with the ProType Titler, which strikes me as likely to offer a little more control, and certainly more options. kdi didn't say, or I didn't catch whether his version of Vegas would have that, being new to 8.0 (and not sure if it's available outside the Pro package).

No problem. I'm happy you were able to get very close to it using Vegas; that's the surprise, but just another reason why Vegas is the Bomb when it comes to NLE's.

My Best---
