Has this, "Vegas requires that you have 6 discrete analog outputs to stream all channels of the 5.1 mix."
My Sound Card is a Sound Blaster Live Player 5.1
I ask, the CREATIVE have any Sound Card and Speakers for this ?
or you have another opinion?
already I asked to CREATIVE But they do not know to answer.
Thank you for the attention

Insert the reverb to a bus, then route the bus to where you want it to go. Be sure your project properties are set to 5.1 and not stereo.

Ok and thanks
But with sound card by Creative i can do this?
have you any suggestion?
Sound Baster Live Player 5.1?
and Speakers?
Inspire 5500 digital?
it`s not necessary sound card with 6 discrete analog outputs?

I don't think you can use the digital out from your card to your speakers. Vegas won't convert the timeline to AC3 when playing.
You will have to connect with the mini jacks. I hate the creative drivers for this, you have to install two programs for it to work analog, so I got an alternate driver "kx project". A little tricky to learn at first but far better than creatives.

JoseArtur,
I've never used the Creative card, but I thought they all have 3 separate 3.5mm outputs, 2 channels on each one. You'd need 3 splitters to feed the different speaks or sub input channels.
We use M-Audio or Echo for all our multichannel output. Easy to do.

You must use a card and driver that provide 6 specific channel as physcial outputs. These can be either analog or digital, but them MUST be separate.

Vegas does NOT stream AC3 encoded audio.

The SoundBlaster live can do SOME of this when using the DirectSound Surround Mapper in Vegas. You must properly configure the Creative driver and tell Windows the correct speaker configuration. However, I don't believe the Inspire 5500 digital speakers can be used in this environment as they are intended to decode AC3 type audio.

The Audigy hardware does support our model for monitoring surround audio. It provides both DirectSound and ASIO drivers that permit Vegas to route the actual audio stream to the correct channels.

I'm using a Creative Audigy card for 5.1 output in Vegas. I've attached 2 sets of stereo monitors to the front and rear stereo output ports. It's VERY easy to do. If you want to use creative speakers, it should be even easier. And I've just selected the direct output under the audio options in Vegas and it works!

I haven't set up proper Sub and Center outputs, but Vegas lets me mix those into my current front stereo speakers, so it's fine.

Peace,
Adam.
