Is there any way to extend the credit roll other than stretching it. I've it fully stretched (slow motion) but as I've a long list of names, it goes too fast to read them.
Just use key frames. Key at start has first line at bottom, key at end has last line at top. Then, no matter how long (or short) the credit lasts it will automatically adjust speed to suit.
I think the keyframe method will only work if using a still image as the credit roll. I don't believe it will help if using the credit roll plugin.
If you want to make a credit roll longer then change the Length: setting in the center top area of the credit roll generator window. Then on the timeline do a regular stretch (not ctrl-stretch) to match this length. This way you can make it as long as you wish.
I wish I would have seen this thread a few days ago. I just finished a project using a credit roll for the first time. I never noticed the length field at the top. I ended up using multiple events and cross-faded them to reduce the gap between the time previous event goes off the top and the next event coming up from the bottom.
