Credit Roll does not take unicode text?

Has anybody else run into this? I can put in Chinese characters in text generator without a problem. But nothing or garbage shows up when I try them in Credit Roll. Is it just Chinese, or all unicode text?

We have seen problems with this in the past, thought we had it fixed. You'll need to use an externally generated graphic for now, sorry.
