It's a known bug in MovieStudio - you need to contact tech support. I don't know if there's a fix yet.

I encountered the same thing a few weeks ago and contacted Sony about it. As Ian pointed out, they are now aware of it and will presumably address the problem in a future release. Here was Sony's reply:

"Thanks for writing. Thanks to your detailed instructions I have reproduced the problem. I have submitted it to the developers so they can add it to their bug database. This should be fixed in a future update, but unfortunately I do not know when that is planned for."

In the meantime, you can create a title, add as much text as you like to it, and use the pan feature to scroll it up/down or left/right. At least this lets your add, etit, or remove text freely.

Thanks for the replies,
I contacted tech support and the reply from Nick was
"we were unable to duplicate this behavior"

I'd like to know exactly what Nick did - I can duplicate the problem at will!

I was (mistakenly) trying to reproduce this problem using the text generator (not the credit roll). This is a confirmed issue and will be fixed in a future update.

Sorry for the confusion.
