Cropping and Preview?

I have captured dozens of old VHS tapes with VV4 and then cropped the noise off the bottom. The last tape though the cropping cannot been seen in preview. Weirdness? I did a fresh install of VV4 and still the same thing. I do not understand this.

You don't even need to crop the picture, the noise at the bottom won't even be seen on a TV. The only time you need to crop them is if you are going to a web based video like MPEG or Quicktime, then you will see the full screen. Just pop up the save title and video areas in the preview screen, if it isn't seen in the safe video area then it won't be seen.
