Cross Fading Two Video Tracks

I am trying to replicate the way that VV crossfades two video clips when you overlap them on the same track. I want to do this with two clips on two different tracks. Does anyone, 1. know what I mean and 2. know how I can do it?

Bring the mouse pointer to the upper corner of the event(s) (the cursor will change to a right triangle with a double arrow). Drag the corner into the event for the amount of fade you want

Don't forget to match the fades on both tracks.
That is as you fade track one out for 22 frames, fade track 2 in for 22 frames.
