CS5 System

Hi,
I'll be upgrading from Adobe CS3 to 5 shortly to avail of the 10% discount being offered at the moment. I'll also need a new system to utilise the 64 bit applications. I was wondering if any Vegas 10pro users are using CS5 and if so what systems they have purchased/constructed to avail of the mercury engine and that work well for both programs?

You realize that Amazon.com has it cheaper than the 10% discount once you account for Adobe's shipping and state tax?

At least it is with the CS4 to CS5 upgrade. I would assume that maybe if Amazon has a CS3 to CS5 option then it may be similar.

Unfortunately niether of those offers are cheaper than the Adobe offer, I'm upgrading from CS3, but thanks anyway.

Are you upgrading to ultimate? When I priced the CS4 to CS5 upgrade for myself with that 10% off coupon, the Amazon price with free shipping and no tax was cheaper after you add the tax and shipping that Adobe was charging. If you live in a state where Adobe doesn't charge tax then it would definitely be cheaper to go with Adobe.
