Current Maintenance release of Vegas Pro 13.0?

Some time ago I purchased Vegas Pro Edit from B&H. At that time it was a Sony product. Just one day ago (3/12/2017) I installed it on my Windows 7 Pro PC from a CD. When I click on Help=>About=>General I see that the version I have is

Vegas Pro
Version 13.0 (Build 290) 64-bit

I do not see how or where the "current" maintenance version can be found and applied. I don't know if there even is a maintenance version? Is there a more current "maintenance" version or patch? If the answer is yes, where can I find it?

The software licenses which once were registered at Sony Creative Software were migrated to Magix. If at Magix.com you log-in into your account there will be a download available for the latest build of Vegas Pro 13.

You will also find a download of the latest build of Vegas Pro 13 at VegasCreativeSoftware.com.

Hi Nick,

So users like to stay with Sony Vegas Pro 13 (build 453), the last "Sony" version of Vegas Pro 13? Is it useful to upgrade to version 14?

I think it is, especially the Suite version. The Boris plug-ins that are included are awesome.

VP 21 BCC 2024 Boris FX Continuum Complete, Titler Pro v7. Various NewBlue effects.

In general I think so. I do.

Is it useful to upgrade to version 14?

Opinions differ. There's not really much new in it but some of the new features are of great value to some users. It depends what you need. You can read for yourself here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-14-s-update-history-so-far--104998/
