Cursor movement with keyboard?

Does anyone know of a key (or command that I can assign a key to) that will move the cursor a specific amount of time along the timeline (not only to the end of a clip)? I'd like to avoid having to use the mouse to do this so that I can rapidly move through the timeline and have the mouse focussed on the track.

Unfortunately, CTRL-G (while a feature I did not know about) does not do what I need. I want to nudge the cursor along the track view by a pre-defined amount of time. Having to manually enter a new value every time does not make it practical for quickly repeated use.

Is there one key that will move the cursor a pre-defined number of frames along the track view?
