Custom/Manual keyframe interpolation?

ItzMuff1n wrote on 9/30/2019, 4:57 PM

Hello,

I have been editing with SVP 16 for more than a year now and i was always wondering,
is there any way to make or manually control the key frame interpolation like in Adobe Effects?

(something like this)

( source: )

I've had a problem with making smooth transitions and effects with key frames all the time and custom/manual interpolation would help me a lot.

Select the keyframes, right click and choose the keyframe interpolation.

That's not exactly what i ment, i know that this is a way to use the keyframe interpolation and i was and use it at the moment but i was wondering if i could customize/make my own.

Select the keyframes, right click and choose the keyframe interpolation.

For transitions maybe this will help you without using keyframes

Currently, it is not possible to do this natively in Vegas. But you can try Vegasaur Tweener tool. She's one of the best in Vegas.

I mostly use Move or S_Shake(from sapphire plugin) fx for transitions so sadly i only make transitions strictly with keyframes
I actually did know about these and i've used them few times too.

For transitions maybe this will help you without using keyframes

Yes, that is something to love, although, with so many things in Vegas, it works like a cheap knock off Android phone as opposed to an up to date I-phone. So many "features" in Vegas show great promise, but sometimes glitchy behaviors, which I will continue to carp on, because it MAKES NO SENSE to keep adding features (e.g., new color grading is atrociously designed as far as UI) when these great under-the-hood features of Vegas SHOULD BE PERFECTED.

But, make no mistake, these features DO work, you just have to work and work and work to make them do what they're supposed to do.
