Customise MPEG 2 settings

I have movie studio platinum - the custom button for MPEG 2 is greyed out....do I need a plug-in?

Need to urgently change settings

Mpeg2 customization is only available on Vegas Pro.

Does this mean that we can't render as MPEG as well? Because if not we're screwed...

You can render MPEG and MPEG2 from Vegas Movie Studio. There are a number of predefined templates available and you can use whichever of these most closely matches your desired output settings. You just can't tweak things.
