customizing VV3 interface

I know that it's possible to undock the video window in VV3, but I'm trying to figure out if it's at all possible to dock it in a different spot. I would love to be able to shift the timeline to the bottom half of the screen and move everything up. I would also be happy with moving the video window to the bottom-left hand corner and so far that has not worked for me. Is this even possible?

I just did that with no trouble. did you know you can have as many or as few as you want of the "tabbed panels" across the bottom of the screen? it is tricky to manipulate them at first, but as long as you grab the double vertical bar at the left side of each panel, you should be able to get everything placed the way you like it.

as for having the video on the top... you can kind of do that too by dragging it off the app and shrinking the app itself down a bit from the top.

a couple keyboard shortcuts you might want to try:
F11
SHIFT+F11
CTRL+F11

try them out!

I have VV3 running on two displays. I would love to put the timeline on the left and the tabbed pane on the right so that my time line doesn't span both displays. Is this possible?

Can't can't put the "docked" pane on the other monitor, but you can undock all kinds of windows onto the other monitor, and dedicate your first monitor to just timeline.
