Cut a subject out of the video

I was asked if I can cut out one of the 2 subjects in a recent video interview and then flip the subject facing the opposite way where they are facing toward themselves.

Then move that video to the upper right corner of the video like they are looking down on a chart.

I am not sure if it is possible or not.

If you've shot your actor in front of a green screen, it's fairly easy to do.

If not, you have the background behind the actor to deal with.

jk, I'm having a problem visualizing exactly what you are trying to achieve. Can you expand a bit?

Grazie

If there is some space between the two subjects so the people do not overlap or block each other, this is fairly easy to do in Vegas .. can you post a still frame of the 2 subjects and a still of the chart?

Maybe post of a still of what it looks like now.

Perhaps you can crop just that person and paste to a new track, then add mirror effect and then track motion on that track to shrink it to a small window?

Open Pan Crop, uncheck Lock Aspect Ratio

Drag the borders to resize around the desired subject.
If you don't have clear vertical separation you may have to use Bezier masking to cut the shape out.

Right click - Flip Horizontal

Use Track Motion to resize and move the frame.
