I'm about to start transferring my collection of 8mm home videos to DVD, capturing with DVcam analog pass-through, doing some light editing in VV3 before rendering and burning. I'd be interested to hear folk's thoughts on D1 vs half D1 as my output format. I've done a few tests (only at 8000K CBR), and to be honest, I can't really see any difference. What are others' experiences? Is there more of a difference at lower bitrates?
