Hi, I was experimenting with a .DAT file.
I copy the .DAT file from a VCD source onto my hardisk.
Followed by opening the .DAT file onto the Vegas Video timeline. It works fine.
I was able to do simple cut & paste operation but no transition was possible. Never mind, I tried rendering out both a MPEG1 & Realmovie file. It works fine.
Fantastic up till now BUT when I decide to try another .DAT file again.
Here comes the problem, Vegas Video is only able to display the audio wave on it's timeline while I have a blank on my video timeline now.(I'm still able to open an MPEG1 file onto the timeline)
Is there a limitation for Vegas Video to open a .DAT file? (Open only once?)
Have I triggered something in Vegas Video to cause this problem?
Anyone care to comment? Thanks
Regards
