daughter 16, now a videographer

My 16 year old daughter is taking digital video production at high school. They use Premier at school but she preferred to use Vegas at home. The class was split into two teams each responsible to make a music video. My daughter hated the choices made by both teams and asked permission to do her video independently. The teacher said, "Sure."

So armed with my cheap Samsung mini DV she got my wife and I to act it out. She planned all the shots based on the lyrics and did the shooting then loaded the captures into Vegas and soon had a video.

Wow, my server was inundated with 13 billion bytes downloaded for this one file, so I have removed the hyperlink. Thanks for all the interest.

Bravo!

Very well thought out. She should be proud of herself. :)

Bob,
Looks like she is learning some good stuff. Lots better than when I started. Both of my kids have been doing vids since they were young mostly just to have fun. My daughter did this one a couple of years ago when she was 20. Turned out it was theraputic for her. Thanks for sharing.

Bro... That was AWESOME!

My daughter's only 3 and at the moment she likes to sit on my lap when I'm editing.
She's full of questions and always wants to 'See the Movie' (no matter how boring it is)
I just hope it lasts.

Tell your daughter 'Right On!'
