With the amount of overlap in the code between Vegas, Acid Pro and Sound Forge, and the inclusion of these two in the Vegas Suite, are there plans to either a) continue maintenance to Acid Pro and Sound Forge or b) implement Acid Pro features into Vegas, so that it can also be used as a DAW?
A big draw to me with Vegas Pro, Acid Pro, Sound Forge, Vegas Image and Vegas Effect is that they all function similarly. It makes sense in my brain that something I learn in one usually has overlap in the other and it makes using them all as a suite incredibly intuitive.
While I don't expect development to ever pick up to what they were in their Sonic Foundry days, I'd love to see these two audio apps continue to get love as they add a lot of value to my Vegas experience.
