Jwidner,

I have a Dazzle DVC too. Nice product. Cute little box and
pretty decent quality... but don't bother trying to use it
with Video Capture. A Dazzle DVC is one of those cranky
little devices that refuses to work properly with anything
but the software it came with. Believe me, I've tried.
Video Capture, Video Wave, Video Studio, Video Wizard...
Never works properly. If you can even capture AT ALL in
another program, it's never above 10 or 15 fps. It has
something to do with universal driver efficiency, or some
jazz like that. Bottom line is that if you want high
quality video captured with a DVC, you gotta use the DVC
software. Just import the captured clips into VideoFactory
and work from there. Playing with MPG's is not always
desirerable, but in this case it's about your only choice.
Luckily the quality of the captures with the device makes
it worth the trouble. Lemme know if you have any issues
with this setup.

Best wishes,
Nick LaMartina
