Spot, According to the Digital Media DC web site, there are Sony Vegas tracks on Thrusday, Oct 7th. If you are leaving Oct 6th, who is teaching these sessions? Am I looking at the wrong schedule of events? Thanks! Mickey (Washington Baltimore Vegas User Group)

Aw man - now ya tell me? I was planning on going this year for a few reasons, sort of been planning it for the last 4 months or so. The LEVA is doing a killer (no pun intended) session there that I wanted to go to. But than my film got into a film fest and also just got a brand spanking new system - more in another post on that - so budget is a bit tight. Say - the GVE wasn't what I got that email from on was it? You didn't say what it was, just that is was at the start of October - now that would *really* suck!

I guess that *really* sucks....sorry Filmy.
I typed the wrong date, mgracklin...I'll be there til Friday nite, arriving Sunday. I was probably looking at the wrong year or something.
Was in a hurry. Currently in Roanoke, VA, where the dialup is MURDER!

Spot, There are quite a number of restaurants around the convention center in DC. A fairly inexpensive eat and one of my favorites is Tony Cheng's
Mongolian BBQ. It's located at 621 H St. just a couple blocks south of the convention center. If you get in early enough Sunday, October 3rd could for for getting together with WBVUG members. Thursday night would work as well. Let me know. If you prefer a different restaurant here's the list which are in the vicinity of the convention center.
