DCR-PC9 USB Terminal?

I'm considering buying a DV camera.
I need to have DV and Analog I/O.
Sony DCR-PC9 seems like a good choice, but I'm wondering what exactly is hidden behind the "USB terminal" in the spec sheet?
Does it mean that video can be transferred to/from the USB port and into/from VV3?
Or is it just for moving stills?

I've got this camera and like it. The USB terminal is only for accessing the memory stick (stills & cheezy Mpeg captures). I never use it because of low quality. Video is quite good considering the size of the camera and it works great as an analog-to-dv converter.

The firewire port is behind the same cover that houses the USB port.
