Hey Glen,
Checkout www.db-audioware.com, Dave Browns plugs are priced for the budget minded, but are of pro quality. He just recently updated his plugs for XP. I've got his (5)dynamic processors plugin suite, which includes a de-esser. Very good, low CPU consuming DX plugs that work very well with SF apps. You can download his suite of plugs for a free two week trial. It is $99.00 for the whole suite, or you can buy ala carte.

HTH,

Billy Buck

an audio fx plugin (or a hardware box) that removes 'sss' 'ttt' etc on a vocal track, works well on voiceovers etc...

VV3 comes with a version of that. The Audio EFX is the Multiband Dynamics. There is a setting for DeSSSing and for a P Pop filter. They work well.
