De-focusing a video clip

Hi,

I need to gradually add de-focus to a video clip. How do I do this?

Add any of the blur FX to the clip and keyframe from none to whatever final amount you wish. Darryl

Apply a blur to the Event there is a choice of Linear or Gaussian.

Now start without any effect - sliders at zero. Copy this opening keyframe to where you want the focus change to start. Add a new keyframe where you want the out of focus to be complete and set this to one of the presets (Medium Blur, Extreme Blur etc.) and adjust to suit the look you are after.
