Deactive Vegas on one computer

I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9. It's the Windows edition.

I was told you can only install it on two computers.
Anyway I have it installed on my laptop and my desktop. Well I want to reinstall a fresh copy of windows (Not from a backup) on the desktop.

How can I deactivate the current subscription of vegas on the desktop so I can reinstall it when I reinstall windows?

No mystery at all.
1) Format your hard drive
2) Install the Windows operating system.
3) Install your current version of Vegas and register using your current serial #.

Sony is generous with the number of activations you get without having to contact them directly.
