decent titler with Vegas 6 ??

I am not a power user of Vegas and hence seldom need the advanced features...BUT I surely hope the new version comes with a titler all users can be proud of.

Anyone with insider tips ?

I would be happy with the titler if I could SYNCH what I design to the music AND the video. I'd like to see MARKERS appear in the TEXT timeline.

Come to that - I'd like to see the same markers appear in ALL T/Ls for FXs, Pan/Crop, Gen MEdia . .. er have I left something out?

I know "the big boys" keep it simple. That's the so called trend BUT are the folks watching these shows impressed with the clean and simple titles. The fact is they have no choice but to shut their trap and just watch. I also know from experience that for wedding/home videos, most folks get excited and impressed when titles do their magic with bevels,rotation and other effects...especially so during the opening scenes.

My question is...Why do I have to resort to third party apps or other tedious tweaks to create some impressive titles ? Surely SONY has by now realised their shortcomings in this area but ...when... are we going to see some improvements ? Vegas 6 I hope.
