I suppose it goes kinda like this:

1/- Those who do know would be under an NDA to not tell

2/- Those who think they know and aren't under an NDA .. . well ... yeah?

So, if someone from SONY is reading this and DO know they wouldn't say, but you wouldn't know that. And under those conditions EVEN emailing SONY directly might not get you anywhere. So, Gordan, you can't even surmise that there are NO plans.

However, when we hear of this kind of thing, it is always a good Forum quizz to recognise who is NOT responding - oh yes! ! ! Now if that gives you a clue, well . . . But I would not know if that would be a clue or not. Tricky, isn't it.

I'll tell you something for nothing though, I ain't got the foggiest idea WHAT you are referring to ( nothing new there!). Apart from the fact it sounds rather spiffing - oh yes! Now that I do know .. I think?

Grazie

As far as I know it supports it now. Do you know definatively that it doesn't?

I'd suggest you talk to BMD themselves, the guy I managed to talk to in Melbourne is a Vegas user.
Decklink do supply their own capture utility so no matter what app you use so long as the codecs are compatible it'll work but for heavens sake before spending those kinds of dollars ask BMD.
BTW, I guess you realise you need a PCI-E slot for that box, well you can use the PCI-X bridge card but that's extra dollars.
