dear sony developers,

please do support all new DeckLink drivers.
they are running ahead, try to follow.
premiere and decklink are on the same frequency, tune it up and listen some music.
vegas and decklink, on our side, is great system, even better if it's up to date. there is not so many hardware gears that works with vegas, so stick closer to decklink, would be more pro.

best regard,
gordan antic

there's a decklink output optin in my copy of vegas.

also, there's a suggetion section under the "support" tab. better chance they'd see it there then here.

Whilst I agree with you, question is, a driver works as it's meant to or it doesn't. As far as I know the version that Vegas does support does what it has to do, so where is the imperative to support the new version.
I suspect the new version adds functionality that Vegas will never (or at least is very unlikely) to ever support. PP has a very different architecture which means it can use some of the smarts on the BMD cards. Vegas doesn't have this ability which can be a good thing or not.

Vegas is something like 5-6 versions behind Premiere Pro on the Decklink drivers.

This makes me concerned that general (non-Vegas specific) bugs may never get fixed in 4.8 or whatever is the latest Vegas-safe Decklink driver.
