Default Audio Track Effects

Each time I start a new project, all of the audio tracks contain the Noise Gate, EQ and Compressor FX's. I'm not really interested in using Noise Gate and Compressor every time so I have to manually delete them. I've looked in "Options-->Preferences" and can't seem to find where I can set which audio FX's get loaded by default each time an audio track is added. Can anyone shed some light on this issue? Thanks.

Those are normal and are set to "do nothing" by default.

If you really do not want them there:

1. Delete them
2. Right-click a blank area of the track hearder
3. Choose "Set Default Track Properties..."
