Default directories

I just bought the Vega Movie Studio Suite, and I am exploring its nice features. I have a simple question:

How to determine the defaut directories of Movie Studio (MS projects, output files, video or audio sources)? It is cumbersome to enter them by hand each time. Since this is standard, I am sure that there is a possibility that I have missed.

Many thanks

Franck

Welcome to the community!

There are no defaults for projects, exported files and sourcefiles.
As long as you use the normal hardware on which you installed the program on the right location (:C) you can choose every place for those tasks if there is enough space.
Once you store a project the program knows where to find all the used elements and remembers also the last location to store the export.

Many thanks! Thanks also for this useful information. I am surprised to learn that this standard (and convenient) feature does not exist in the software (maybe in a future version?), but we can certainly live without it.

Ofcourse you can determine and change default locations. VMS will remember those locations the next time.

For projects just use Save as:

For renderings just browse once to your render location:

and your Media (Video and Audio) locations can be added to the favorites in the VMS explorer:
