Default Disolve time

Hi,

Okay, I'm in the trimmer marking my in's and out's and placing them on the timeline (i,o,a -this stuff is soo fast!!). Once on the timeline I manually move the clips overlaying eachother, guessing the automatic disolve. Is there a way to set # of frames from the last scene so all my disolves are consistent?

P.S. The "Automatically overlap multiple selected media when added" did not help.

Take a look at the "Gap Wizard" in Excalibur. It can take a series of clips and overlap them by a specified amount.

There is no functionality for this, however, it can be done by a script. Look for a stand alone script or look at Excalibur (which is what jetdv meant to say in his post above ;-)

Man, leave out one little quote mark and the whole thing dies. It's fixed now.
