default Fade type

Is there a project- or global-level setting for automatic fades created when overlapping clips? I know I can right click an existing fade, and change its type - but would like to control which is created by default.

Thanks,

Piotr

I have scrolled through the relevant Help pages, and didn't find anything - can anyone confirm the default cross-fade curve cannot be changed?

They can be specified via a script.

Thanks Edward, so I thought :)

Will Excalibur work with the 64bit Vegas version? How to make Vegas see it? I have the trial installed, but it's only accessible from 8.0c !

I don't know anything about the 64bit version. Since 8.0c and 8.1 can load each other's projects, you can do that part in 8.0c.
