Default Settings Have Changed

Once upon a time Vegas Movie Studio was set up the way I loved it.

On the right side was my Video Preview screen. At the bottom were tabs for Trimmer, Transitions, Project Media, and Media Generators.

Today these settings have all changed.

The Video Preview screen is now on the bottom. I must now go to the VIEW MENU each time I want to use the Trimmer, Transitions, Project Media, and Media Generators.

The Project Media section used to show actual icons (photos) of all my video clips. Now I only see text.

How can I get back those wonderful default settings without having to uninstall the program and installing it again?

If VMS is like Vegas then you recall saved window configurations by pressing ALT+D followed by a number 1 through 0. I think the original configuration is in slot 1. Note that when you find a configuration you like, you can save it using CTRL+ALT+D and the number of the slot.

Hold down CTRL-SHIFT when you start VMS. That should reset everything back to factory defaults (including the settings you WANTED changed).
