Default.sfvidcap + audio question

Is there a way to change the location that the default.sfvidcap file gets saved? Currently it's saved into My Documents.

Also, I have a sound associated to "Menu popup" in Windows XP. When I'm trying to capture video and I click on any menu, I get the menu popup sound but it keeps going and going and the volume gets louder and louder as if there is a feedback loop or something. Is this a bug? I don't even have a mic.

Thanks.

In the capture program you can do a File-Save As and place the sfvidcap file wherever you like. I prefer to keep seperate sfvidcap files for the projects I work on as otherwise the capture tool has loads of unrelated clips (and by splitting it up in this way I don't keep all my eggs in one basket).

As for that sound thing.... do you maybe have the micropone input enabled (checked) in your windows sound properties? I cannot see how this would happen without a microphone... but who knows. Some laptops do have an inbuilt microphone in them.... what sort of system do you have.. and are you sure you do not have one in there? Also... try plugging in headphones rather than using the speakers. If the feedback does not happen... then that to me indicates that you do have a microphone somewhere.
