Well, I just can't resist. It seems it was about a year ago when people were so disappointed that Sonic Foundry was not shipping Vegas 4 in a box.

I just received my update to Vegas 5 shipped from Sony and it came in a brand new, shiny, plastic bag!!!

Luckily I did get a Vegas 4 box and it has plenty of room for Vegas 5. But if anyone is holding out for the box... you might have to go to a reseller.
