Zippy, what you need to do is go into your registery and do the following:

1. Highlight the Key that says Sonic Founcry
2. Select all listings in that key
3. Delete.

This shoulld allow you to do what you want to do and would probably guarantee that we wouldn't have to deal with your adolescent demands fr awhile.

Most good manicurists can do a variety of creative things with your thumbnails. Check your yellow pages!

First, put your thumb......

What thumbnail image, where, Zippy? Thumbnail in the Media pool? That's always first frame. Thumbnail in DVDA? That's always first frame. Thumbnail in Explorer? That's always first frame.
Change your first frame, and you'll have your changed thumbnail.

Pull thumb back out now.

"HOW DO I CHANGE THE THUMBNAIL IMAGE!!"

Look at the other one next to it and imagine you're still looking at the same one. Works every time with a little concentration...

Ok, I admit it would be a good idea. It's been DISCUSSED before, not YELLED OUT !

Hi Zippy,

Since the thumbnails are always the first frame, hereé what you can do to change it..

import the media you want to change the thumbnail for in the timeline. Now find the thumbnail you're looking for.
Copy that frame and paste it at the beginning of the event.
Then, render as an .avi-file with the name YOU like. Won't take long, it's only a 1 frame change.
Then import that .avi-file in your mediapool and there it is: thumbnail exactly the way you want it!

djeez guys, you all know this, you could have helped Zppy out!!! :)

I'm with Futz on this one----look at the damn thumbnail next to it and imagine--Sometimes the best answers are the easiest ones. By the way Zippy--sorry I forgot to tell you to back up your registray before deleting it! LOL

riredale, be nice the the deanies, they're feeling vulnerable right now. They don't need to be lumped in with Zippy.

green thumb eh?? wrong forum...

If there is a dark fuzz on the thumbnail, simply gangrene screen the thumbail out using your eyedropper and you won't see it alt all.

Actually, though I don't agree with Mr. Dean's ideas, I very highly admire his "shoot from the hip" attitude. I cringe when I see a typical politician very carefully choose his words in response to a question. Kinda like looking over a minefield, and trying to figure out how to cross it without getting blown up.

By contrast, Dean just says what he's thinking. Refreshing. Probably too late for him, though.
