I don't understand how you are able to put up with all the verbal abuse that you receive from this form's members. You are a greater person than I am. I sympathize with you in your troubles with Vegas' shortcomings and loss of work for not using a "professional" editing system. You have opened my eyes. I'm switching to FCP and leaving this forum. Come with me Zip. Get a FCP system and come with me. We will much happier in the FCP forum and in the FCP world. Throw out that Vegas system and join me in the bliss of the Apple Orchard. It is time to take charge of your life and go for the gold! You don't need these people. I am only thinking of your happiness. Come on Zippy, let's go to FCP and never look back!
Ironically, even when Billyboy slams people, he's able to do it without name calling. Zippy, if you're so high-class, why can't you do the same? For such an 'educated' and successful guy, your vocabulary seems a little stilted.
Tell you what...If I GIVE you a free copy of Final Cut Pro, will you just go away and never, ever return to these forums? Honest, a legal, in the box copy, with a dongle....you can register it to you. I'll even throw in a piece of Aja hardware. But you'll have to sign an agreement with your real name, give it to the Sony EPM, and swear upon penalty of burnt tongue to never return.
Although I'm not sure I would want to know Zippy personally, or even get involved in any communication wilth him, I have found the threads Zippy starts to be entertaining and informative.
As a person who is only an occaisional user, yet who relies on Vegas for my living, I find many of the replies to zippy from Forum members often answer nagging questions that I've had for a long time. He also livens up the forum a bit, often adding a "human" (Zippy? human?) element to what might ohterwise be a rather dry, technical forum.
My hope is that Zippy stays, and that other forum members continue to express their aggrivation.
>I didn't say I enjoyed Zippy... I enjoy the threads.
I agree ttravis. I've muted Zippy but I still read the threads sometimes. But I'm sick of seeing posts demanding that Sony staff spend their time and development resources dealing with problems that we can handle already with the tools they've provided. This isn't kindergarten ya whiners.
