There used to be a "logo remover" plugin but I don't know if it is still around. It did a mixture of blurring and blending surrounding pixels to "remove" titles and logos. Not completely gone, but sometimes better than the alternative.

Make and turn it into an attractive, narrative-enhancing lower third overlay, maybe with a running commentary? How long does it go in for?

it's a full program. probably close to an hours worth of material and it's on all of them. That was another idea I was going to play around with. A lower third or titlle or something like that. I'm looking at blurring it out now. Whatever is not too obnoxious!!!!

Is it a video about "The Davis Project"? If so this makes a great lower third AND with a Blurring and Soft Contrast option, you can have something, I feel, looks both PRO and organically acceptable. Do you want to see?

I was thinking the same thing. Yes I'd like to see your example.

Thanks

Stage One

Stage 2

Stage 3 - and this can and is a Rolling Text, but the sky's the limit with this. I was thinking of using that Dove/Bird as a vanisher on the far Left. Much to do. Treat this as an opportunity!

Waddyah think?!

Wow. That's just what I was thinking.... but better. I love the defocus background. Gives it a sort of frosted glass look. I never thought of that. So I learned a new trick.

THANKS

You're welcome. Now, if that organisation deals with "depression", then the lower third frosted glass has both relevance and importance to the message of the interviews.

If all of this has resonance to the purpose and poise of your video do use that Dove. If you can get me a Still of it, no need for massive quality, I'd like to have a go and finesse our ideas.

Are you interested?

I have to admit I'm a little embarrased I didn't think of this (but it's only been a few hours and I may have eventually :-) )I'd love to see what you can do, but we are a non-profit with NO income and I don't want to ask you do to something for no pay.

I have been trying to duplicate your matt and have not been able to get the look so that it's blurred, transparent, and hides the old text. Can I ask what plug in did you use ??? (I'm on v13)

Get me that Dove/Bird thing and I'll show you! I didn't ask for payment. I've been chair of a London based charity so I know and understand the restrictions. There are those on this Forum who share much. Over the years we've helped and supported each other. Goes a long way to form, I think, our special Vegas-Thang: "What happens in Vegas ... " 😂 We try and help each other. None of us are perfect. I know I'm a work in progress.

Understanding that any User here may only have the standard Plugs and Tools that come with Vegas I try and ring-fence my attempts in just utilising those that are available.

Don't be embarrassed, and, if you wish, send me that bird thing and I'll show you what I have in mind. 😉

Thanks. I sincerely appreciate all of your help. This forum has always been a tremendous help to me (especially many times at 2am when I am stuck).

I'm waiting on a copy of the bird and as soon as I get it i'll forward it to you.

Understood.

If you really want the date or logo just gone, there is a delogo filter available for 32-bit VirtualDub. I've never used it. There's an HTML manual included and also a guide here. If you want to use it I recommend VirtualDub Filtermod rather than the original VirtualDub.
