Deleting .sfk files after project close. Vegas 9

I can't seem to find the option to delete the .sfk files after I close a project in Vegas 9. Am I missing something? Anyone know how to do this? The problem is when I pull a bunch of files from my sound library all these .sfk files get left all over the disc. I am sure it is here, just can't find the option. Anyone?

Windows Explorer, search all drives for .sfk, delete everything that shows up.

Yes, I know I can do this, but why should I have too, ya know? They should delete upon closing the session.

The reason they aren't deleted at session close is that, if you choose to touch up the file again (a lot of people do that), the waveform pix don't have to be redrawn.

I totally understand, BUT can I have an option to delete them on closing the session... The waveform redraws only take a few seconds for what I am doing.
