I got this uge problem when I try to record in Vegas 3.0 with the setting on the Windows Classic Wav Drivers (the one I could select witch in of the delta is recording) A got lots of pop & click. If I place the setting at the Microsoft Sound Mapper it recording without pop & click. That's fine but I can't choose witch in is recording & since I whant to rec multiple track I'm done.

I use win98 w/ asus board. I also have sblive to use the midi in/out.

I've experienced the pop & click using both drivers. It's an on/off sorta thing. There was talk about it being a driver issue, but Midiman seems to be a bit 98SE unfriendly these days...

What you've done to resolve it? Are you using a different system now (windows 2000,millenium or XP)?

Are you using the 22.27 version of Delta 44 driver? I have to go back to this version to solve the pop & click problem.

Today I receive the driver's version 4.13.01.0042 from the technical support. I try at 24bit 48Khz I was ok but at 24bit 96khz it was horrible. Maybe my buffer he's not well set. How you set to rec at 96Khz 24bit if you do so?

I never try 24bit 96khz, but if you wnt to try the 4.1.0022.27 i can send it to you.
I use Win98(SE) and ASUS mother board too.

I install the 22.27 driver & the recording work damn fine!!! Thanks alots for the hint. The only noise had to music so far was in Window Media Player in play back but who care about it? Not me!
