After reading a response grazie had replied to someone asking for a critque, I started wondering about how everyone else builds upon a project from the first inspiration, to the final edit. Does anyone care to share their "creative process"?
One of the more important parts (in my opinion) is once you think you're finished simply walk away from your project for at least a day or two, better several days, and don't look at it, think about it, nothing.
Then when you come back you'll probably be more critical of yourself and avoid falling into the gilding the lily trap or tend to fix flaws you may have otherwise been too tired or sick of looking at in your initial run through to worry about.
