Deshaker...

Using John Meyer's tutorial on Deshaker, I seem to have done something wrong. When I output to avi, it gives me a split screen of the interlaced footage along with the arrows and information in Vdub (just like the output screen in vdub). I am sure I am missing something simple- how can I just get a 29.97fps interlaced uncompressed avi file out of vdub using Deshaker for use in Vegas?

Thanks,

I can only say that I've followed John's tutorial with success. Obviously you followed the two stage process carefully. I would be suspecting that you're looking at the results of the first pass.

You were right. I don't know how I missed it, but it was rendering out pass 1. Worked great teh second time around :)

Now if Gunnar would only finish up Deshaker 2.0 for native x64 XP Pro... :-(

In an email to me, he stated that because he doesn't have a 64bit processor, he's not doing any more development on this version...

If I had a spare cpu I would donate just for the sake of getting a native 64bit version since that is coming down the pipeline shortly - I'm already on XP Pro x64 and have had to resort to PPro as my primary app for this very reason - And the full 4GB of RAM being seen is really helpful when working while rendering out the timeline. This is the ONLY thing keeping me from going full Vegas right now - go figure.
