Device Explorer - a minor problem

OK, this is a very minor problem but it bugs the living daylights out of me.

Any time I load a DVD or Blu-ray disc in my PC Vegas opens its Device Explorer window automatically. Is there any way I can stop it doing that? I've looked but can't seem to find an option.

I'm using Vegas Pro 13 64bit.

In Vegas Pro, hold the Shift key while selecting the Options / Preferences menu items.
