Device Explorer with JVC

I'm importing files from a JVC Cam using Device Explorer. When I import them from my SONY cam it takes the individual files that were broken up because of file size limitations and puts them together as one file again (which is the reason I import them this way instead of just copying them from the SD card).

With the JVC it seems to leave them as separate files and I'll have to peace them together myself. Is there a way around this to have it concatenate them like with Sony ?

What kind of JVC camera are you using? I have an HM-700 and an HM-750 that shoot in MP4 format. I use the free Sony XDCAM EX ClipBrowser (V2.6) utility to rewrap the files to MXF format. Any long (i.e. continuous) clips automatically get joined together.

I'm also using an HM-700 and record in MP4 format. I'l have to try that utility next time.
Thanks~
I thought Device Explorer would do the same thing. Can I unwrap it to a more standard format (for me) like MP4 ?

I thought it would too so I tried it earlier today and no luck :(
MXF is the only format it rewraps to and that's good for us as Vegas loves the format and handles it with ease.
