Looks like a theme issue to me. Ditch the theme that you've applied and use a standard windows theme.

Yeah i've tried that to no avail. Pretty strange actually.
Better yet, is there a way to edit themes?

right click on your background image on your display. Select properties, then click on the appearance tab. Make sure your font size is "normal"

If that doesn't do it, then go back to the appearance tab, click "advanced" select "message box" in the item list and adjust the font/type size - I think the usual default is Tahoma with a size of 8.

FYI, you're also missing the Single Movie option from that dialog box. That may just be because the fonts used in the option descriptions are so large / bold that the Single Movie icon is getting bumped to the right too much.

Following Scott's suggestions might fix this.
