Did anyone notice that Acid 5 has real nested tracks?

Any chance of Vegas getting them in a 5c or 5d update?

Do people here want nested tracks? Maybe we should let Sony know (if they don't already). I for one want better pre-render management and smart MPEG-2 rendering.

Sorry, but as you wandered off your own post "track" I thought I'd plop in my own wish - replace media on the T/L itself. . .Now somone is gonna tell me it's there in V5b!

Nested T/Ls, as in from other veggies - yeah? If so, yes . .. just wondering how this is gonna happen with the Compositing Parent/Child breakthroughs we now use .. . not my problem . .

They are actually folders in which you can place tracks and then collapse into a single track view in which you can still see and manipulate either the individual events or operate on them as a group. This would be a welcome addition to Vegas.

This would be great and probably not *so* complex to do indeed. I'm working with a lot of tracks, and being able to group them in folders (with hide, mute and solo options) would be a major working flow improvement.
