I only used Premier Elements for it's Serious Magic Ultra choma key filter, so I guess it's not a huge deal, but none the less:
Since I installed Vegas 9, Premier Elements is broken. So broken that even a complete uninstall and reinstall of Elements won't help. It could just be a coincidence but it sure looks suspicious. Anyone else having trouble with Adobe products after the Vegas 9 install?
Specifically what is happening is that Premier Elements will no longer work with HDV codec mpeg2 clips. I get a "codec not installed" type error. It's kind of frustrating because I have some green screen clips that neither the Vegas chroma keyer nor the Boris FX chroma keyer seem to be able to deal with. The chances are the Elements serious magic keyer would have problems too, but I'd like to at least give it a try.
